Position Overview:

Fife Hotels is seeking a passionate and professional Chef de Partie to join our dynamic team.

The successful applicant will work across both of our locations: Aberdour Hotel and Burntisland Sands Hotel. These venues pride themselves on offering high-quality, fresh, locally sourced food in a welcoming environment.

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes with a focus on classic bar food made from scratch.
  • Work collaboratively with senior chefs to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety management protocols and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor inventory and manage waste efficiently across both locations.

 

What We Offer:
  • Competitive pay at £14.00 per hour, with additional tips (cash and credit card).
  • Flexible shift patterns, offering full-time or part-time options (up to 5 days per week).
  • Benefits including company pension, discounted or free meals, and on-site parking.
  • Training provided by senior chefs

 

What We’re Looking For:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a chef, preferably in bar food preparation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A solid understanding of food hygiene practices (a food hygiene certificate is preferred).
  • Enthusiasm for fresh produce and quality cooking techniques.

  • Cleaning and tidying guest rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.

  • Ensuring amenities are replenished and rooms are prepared for new arrivals.

  • Adhering to health and hygiene standards.

  • Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

  • Reliability and a positive attitude.

  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
